What Are the Best Bathroom Cleaning Supplies?

Whether you’re remodeling your house or planning to sell, you should clean the bathroom floor-to-ceiling. For a successful job, you’re gonna need to use the best bathroom cleaning supplies.

If you’re spring cleaning, you’re going to have to venture into the bathroom at some point. Fortunately, cleaning the bathroom is a lot less difficult than it sounds. Not to mention, if you clean it regularly, it’ll be even easier to do. You just need to have the right cleaning accessories, supplies, and solutions for the bathroom.

Although there are some cleaning products fitting for any room in the house, there are others which really excel in the bathroom. Because there are far too many germs and bacteria that we don’t know about that hideaway on our faucets, shower heads, and toilets, they’re sometimes immune to anything we might throw at them.

For example, that old cloth you’ve been using for the last year? Throw it out! No good will come from an old cloth, no matter how good it was at the start. Bathroom cleaning supplies aren’t for longevity, especially in a climate as testing as the one we see in Henderson. I mean, isn’t the last thing you need a build-up of scum on the tub when all you want is to be cooler?

Enter: Bathroom cleaning supplies that will keep your shower “showerable” and your toilet, well, flushable – let’s go with that.

First, draft up a version of the remodeling checklist and then you’re ready to go shopping.

Essential Bathroom Cleaning Supplies

You can be the best and most efficient cleaner in the world, but unless you’re using the right supplies, you won’t be doing as well as you could be.

These are just a few of the bathroom cleaning supplies we recommend at LV, but we’re always open to hearing more.

Showers & Bathtubs

Who knows what’s lurking on your shower walls, door, or down its drain?

Products: Used daily, Method shower spray prevents scum and mildew from building up on the shower’s surfaces. Using this can also put a stop to having to do a deep clean every so often.

Accessories: Mr. Clean’s magic eraser is made of durafoam, meaning all you need to do is immerse the product in water and then wipe. So long, grimy shower doors.

Mirrors

Just in case you’re tired of splotches and splashes distorting your handsome reflection.

Products: Any old cleaning product just won’t do for cleaning a mirror. In fact, it could make it worse. Instead, try SprayWay aerosol spray. It’s ammonia-free and won’t leave any streaks.

Accessories: To properly clean glass, you need to have a microfiber cloth. We recommend the reusable streak-free mirror cloth from Scotch-Brite.

Sinks

Medical experts recommend you wash your hands while singing “Happy Birthday”. But what about washing your sink?

Products: To clear a blocked drain, we suggest using Thrift Marketing’s Thrift drain cleaner. As for faucets, these can actually be cleaned using naturally acidic household items like vinegar and lemon juice.

Accessories: The Mr. Clean shower scrubber will work ideally on sinks, too.

Toilets

None of us should need to be told that the toilet is a breeding ground for nasty germs.

Products: Clorox products are great bathroom supplies to have around the house, and the rain clean toilet bowl cleaner is one of the best in the biz.

Accessories: Everybody should have three things in their home: Coffee, a plunger, and a toilet brush. The Lisol bowl brush comes highly recommended. As a bonus, it’s also cheap as chips.

Countertops

Do you really want the place you store your toothbrush and toothpaste to be dirty?

Products: Multi-surface cleaners are great for countertops in bathrooms and in kitchens. One of our favorites is by Puracy. The Puracy natural multi-surface cleaner can clean just about anything. It also smells great and will clean your bathroom surfaces so well you’ll be able to eat your breakfast off of them.

Accessories: Once again, Mr. Clean will do the trick.
